| Forest J. Ackerman | |||
| Forrie
is just your average American Ultimate Fantastic Monsters of Filmland
high priest. No one is more qualified on the subject of Dracula's cape
or Metropolis, mainly because Forrie probably still has both the cape
and the Maria robot living deep in the bowels of the Ackermuseum.
Seriously, as a magazine publisher in the the late fifties, Ackerman
made science fiction come alive and gain a sense of humor. He's a hero
to every monster fan alive (or dead). [Me included. Bless your craven
heart, Forrie! Ed.] Interesting site features: The Origin of Sci-Fi and all the rest |

access to more modern films than the others, but excellent classics turn
up every week on FMC. Interesting site features: A sensible, easy schedule page. |
