1941, on Suspense (September 2, 1942), The Philip Morris Playhouse (October 16, 1942),
and finally on June 21, 1946, on The Mercury Summer Theatre on the Air, a short-lived
summer radio series sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer on Friday evenings at 10 p.m.
ET lasting 15 episodes.

It was also adapted by Rod Serling for the first season (episode 16) of The Twilight Zone,
