In this document, "fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk" refers to fLAtDiSk SoftWorks and the owner of all fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk web sites. "Web site" refers to a specific location on the Internet. "Internet Service Provider" and "ISP" refer to the web hosting companies contracted to provide server space for fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk web sites. "URL" refers to Uniform Resource Locator, AKA Universal Resource Locator, being a unique address for a file or web site that is accessible on the Internet. The following policy applies to all fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk URLs, including www.flatdisk.net, www.flatrich.com, www.exonews.com, www.bayheadweb.com, www.classicactors.com, www.darkhollywood.com, www.modspeak.org, www.richlabonte.net, related web sites, subwebs and web pages.

fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk sites do not employ "web bugs" or any other device or code that might reveal personal information about a visitor.

fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk sites do not generate adware or spyware of any kind. All fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk sites are scanned daily by our ISP for viruses, adware and spyware and locally prior to web publication. All downloadable materials (music files, PDF files, ZIP files etc.) provided for visitors by fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk are scanned prior to server upload and daily by our ISP.

Visitors are encouraged to contact the to report any suspected viruses or links from fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk to websites that do generate adware or spyware or contagious viruses. All virus reports will be investigated immediately and links to all unsafe sites will be removed from fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk immediately.

If a visitor does choose to provide us with personal information by sending email to us through a fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk website or related fLAtDiSk email address, fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk will use that information only to respond to your message. fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk will not provide or give or sell your email address or any information you provide to any private or public organizations. fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk will not collect your email address for marketing purposes or place your email address on a mailing list.

Some fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk sites use Site Meter web statistics services to keep tabs on traffic. The pages tracked by the Site Meter service display a small rainbow-colored square - usually located at the bottom of the page. Site Meter can determine page hits, unique visitors, a visitor's hosting URL, date and time of visit, return visits, browser type, screen resolution of the visitor's browser and other non-invasive statistics. All of these webrings are hosted on WebRing servers. fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk screens ring member sites before ring acceptance according to policy guidelines set forth by WebRing, however fLAtDiSk NeTWoRk has no control over content changes or tracking devices used by these or any outside parties on their own web sites.
